Holiday parks have been around for many years. Guests register at the reception, receive a key for which they pay a deposit and can then enter the holiday home. However, if such a key is lost, this causes the necessary problems. The only way to solve these problems is to replace the entire lock, which involves the necessary costs and labor. How much more convenient would it be to be able to control the access dates and times with the lock, so that if a key is lost, it can easily be blocked in the system. CAT Control Systems offers several options for this.
It has been possible for some time now to provide door locks with access control, allowing you to set which guest has access to a door on which dates and times. It is even possible to link persons/groups to a lock, allowing the park manager to regulate exactly where access may be granted. This can be set at individual and group levels, allowing for customised settings. After all, you want to be in charge of access control yourself, don’t you?
A lock that is now quite well-known is the so-called door handle lock, which can be used with or without an authentic cylinder lock. By holding up a card, tag or smartphone to the door handle reader, the guest who is entitled to access can actually gain access. If the guest loses his card or tag, it is easy to block the rights of this card or tag in the system, so that replacing the entire lock is not necessary.
The most popular at the moment is the cylinder reader. The cylinder reader from CAT Control Systems has been developed in such a way that it is easy to use. The cylinder reader is directly interchangeable with an existing cylinder lock, without the need for complicated adjustments. Converting current locks to these locks is therefore easy. The cylinder locks are equipped with batteries with a lifespan of up to two years, with a signal function for battery change. The cylinder readers are available in single and double versions and are also suitable for locks with 3-point locking.
The door locks from CAT Control Systems can be used both online and offline. With offline application, the basic rights and settings are adjusted directly in the lock via configuration cards. The specific access rights are read directly in the key, so that an online connection is not necessary. With online application, the locks are connected to a network, without cabling, with management via CAT Lock Cloud software. This software is easy to use. If it is difficult to choose which type of lock is most useful in a specific situation, CAT Control Systems can advise you on this. Useful to know: the locks are so modular in structure that offline locks can easily be converted into an online system later. In collaboration with the CAT Card, guests only need to receive one card for access to the park, the home and for paying at the park. How convenient do you want it?
